What is the cost of a pup?

Both Male and Female Rat Terriers are $850. This price is for a limited akc pup as a pet only, not for breeding. If you wish to have a puppy for breeding or showing (full akc) there is an additional cost. Please ask for details.

Do puppies come with their shots? What about worming?

Yes, the pups get their first shots, Parvo at 5 weeks of age and 5-way puppy shot at 7.5 weeks then are wormed three times with Strongid-T and have a series of Safeguard.

Do you ship?

Yes, we ship in the U.S. This generally adds $400-$450 to the price of the pup. Two pups can be shipped together for just a bit more. Shipping includes airfare, pet taxi and vet health certificate to travel. When shipping a puppy, the balance/full amount must be paid for the puppy and the shipping costs one week prior to the flight.

What is needed to 'hold' a pup until purchase date?

Please contact us by e-mail or by phone to tell us your intent then we need a $200 deposit to hold a certain pup until date of purchase.

What kind of payment options do you accept?

Cash, money order, or cashier's check payable to Georgia DeBruin is needed the day you purchase/pick up your pup. A personal check may be used for a deposit/reservation, but call or email first. We also accept PayPal payments for reservation and purchase through our email address of clearbrookkennels@gmail.com, but you'll need to add an additional 4% to the amount to cover fees charged by PayPal. Sorry, we do not take credit cards.

Where do I send a deposit?

Please call us at 360-224-0903 (leave a message if no answer) for mailing information. If you wish to visit or deliver a deposit in person, please call to setup a time and for the address and directions.

Do you ever sell any adult dogs?

Yes, we occasionally retire our adults. Check the adult dog page to see if any are marked as available. We may also have others that aren't shown, so please ask if you are interested. We really appreciate seeing them go in pairs if possible, and they do great in a barn or farm type situation because in their heart they really want to be working/ratting!

What kind of food do you feed your puppies and should I use the same?

We use Fromm puppy food for all our pups and highly recommend their puppy and adult dog foods. You can find a variety of Fromm Family food at many local pet stores and online. We also recommend Life's Abundance pet products.

Since you're constantly caring for adults and puppies, are there any other products that you rely on and recommend?

We have found that our dogs absolutely love Kuranda Pet Beds. They are so comfortable and durable that they basically cannot be destroyed, and we love them!
